Washington State can help: Working Connections Child Care (WCCC)

If your household income is at or below 60% of the State Median Income, this is usually your best first stop. It covers a large part of your child care costs, and your monthly co-pay works out to somewhere between $0 and $215, depending on your income and family size.

The City of Seattle's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) exists specifically for families who earn a little too much for WCCC. It covers 25-70% of your child care costs, and thanks to recent eligibility expansions, the income limit now reaches up to 110% of the State Median Income — up from 94% before — so it's worth checking even if you assumed you'd be over the limit.
