Jump On Languages is looking for talented Spanish Teachers to lead different programs for infants to 12 years old. Looking to fill several fulltime and part time openings. Please note that for our in-person programs in Seattle we are only able to hire if you have work authorization for the United States.

Summer Camps Schedules:

• JOL Spanish Summer Camps K-7: Our Summer Camps will run 4 weeks in August 2021, and possibly July as well. M-F 8:30am-3:30pm

• JOL Preschool Summer Camps: Our Summer Camps will run 2 weeks in August 2021, M-F 8:00am-1:00pm

 

Preschool Spanish Immersion and Spanish Enrichment Programs

• JOL Spanish Immersion Preschools: Our preschool programs will run from September 1st- June 18th 2021 M-F from 8:30am-1pm.

• Spanish Enrichment Preschool Programs. Visitor Program: Our teachers will go directly to preschools in the area to provide Spanish Enrichment Classes. Schedules and times vary.

 

Afterschool Spanish Immersion and Spanish Enrichment Programs

• JOL Spanish Immersion Afterschool: Our afterschool programs will run from September 1st - June 18th 2021 M-F from 2:30pm-6pm.

• Spanish Enrichment Afterschool Programs. Visitor Program: Our teachers will go directly to k-5 schools in the area to provide Spanish Enrichment Classes. Schedules and times vary.

 

Locations:

• Current Locations: Different locations open in Center and North Seattle area

• Future Openings: Different Locations in South Seattle, Shoreline, Bellevue, Kirkland and other

 

General Job Description for ALL positions:

Jump On Languages Spanish Programs are fun-filled, adventurous, Spanish immersion programs for children 0-12 years old. We offer Summer Camps in July and August, and Morning Preschool & Afterschool programs during the school year. 

We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team this year. Our teachers are passionate about making language learning fun through hands-on activities, songs, games, outdoor fun, STEAM programs and cultural connections. Our Teachers’ role is key in ensuring that children have a safe yet FUN experience learning Spanish. 

Since we have different programs running year-round, we can decide together what is the best fit for you, based on your schedule and experience. Duties for these positions will include, but are not limited to:

• Create curriculum material that can be shared with other teachers

• Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities, games, songs and lessons consistent with goals.

• Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Interact with parents to describe curriculum and answer ongoing questions

• Provide progress reports as necessary for families

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology or related field (Preferred)

• Experience with Children: At least 2 years (Preferred)

• Fully bilingual Spanish/English

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)

• CPR Certification (Preferred)

• Pass required state and company background checks.

• Eligible to work in the US.

• Excellent Organization and Communication Skills

• Reliable transportation
